Lift me up...Stampin' Up! Artisan blog hop

Hello and welcome to another Artisan design team blog hop.
If you are following the hop you may have arrived here from Jessica's blog, Isn't her creation lovely?
For this hop we were asked to create a project using the new Lift me up bundle.
You can find this bundle in the new Spring summer catalogue on page 10.

What I love about this stamp set is that it's so versatile, hot air balloons are generic and the sentiments cover more than one occasion, birthday, congrats, love, thanks, just a note and across the miles. All that on one stamp set is great value!

Aren't the Lace doilies lovely!
A great way to add a quick but detailed layer, and with being cardstock weight they will be perfect for sponging with ink to change the colour to suit your project.

I created a coordinating box with the Window box thinlit dies.
This box is super easy to put together and is a great size for all kinds of treats!

The next Artisan on the hop is Kimberly,

Stampin' Up! Artisan design team Sale-a-Bration Blog hop

Hello and Happy February! Another month closer to spring which is my favourite season
Today it's time for another Artisan blog hop.
With Sale-A-Bration well under way we thought we would share some inspiration
using the fabulous freebies that you can earn!
Floral stamps are so versatile and I think Avant-Garden has so much scope for you to be creative.

For this card I chose to soften the outline of the flower by stamping with basic gray.
Sometimes stamping with black ink can be too harsh so basic gray or one of the mid to dark browns like soft suede
or early espresso can give your image a more vintage/softer look.
For the floral background I stamped with daffodil delight on to the matching cardstock,
I love the watermark effect this gives.
