It's been a while..........

It has been a while since my last post! In that time I have been pondering/dwelling on mostly what makes me happy.I made quite a big decision to end my time with Stampin Up, as it stands I am no longer a demonstrator. I have been a demonstrator for 3 years and in all that time till the end of last year I was very happy in what I was doing.
When I began my SU journey I had left a job in the industry that I loved but circumstances made it hard for me to carry on with that so SU seemed the obvious choice to pursue.
I could work from home and still do what I love, so for anyone pondering whether to join just go for it, everyones circumstances are different!
And I am forever grateful to Su for my Artisan design team spot, It was amazing!
Why did I make the decision to leave SU?
Well it's quite simple, if you are a cardmaker you will 'get' what I am saying.
I have been a cardmaker for 10 years.
In this time ' LIFE' happens
My son fell Ill the past 3 years.
That has been challenging.
My Goals changed
My main passion is for copic colouring and cute illustrations.
If you look here at Katy's Bloggeroo you will understand.

Once I had made that decision to go back to where my heart is in crafting I started to explore online for a cute stamp and I found this WPLUS9 set Holiday Hugs at Sevenhillscrafts, they stock all the latest MFT, Mama elephant, Lawn Fawn etc releases.
This card I made for my other half for christmas, he likes a busy card!

Whimsical Winter Mama Elephant

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed putting this card together!

This is not the only 'do what make's your heart happy 'thing' I am doing this year!
Last year in october we took over an abandoned allotment that is literally a 5 minute walk away from our house. In this time my other half has transformed the plot we were offered.
It was a BIG mess!

So the whole area the local council agreed to chop down.
It was 5ft high in something?
After they had chopped it down that's where we came in ( I say we but it was him really)
He has transformed this little area and I can not wait to grow our veggies and harvest our eggs!
Yes we have chickens!

and we have even hatched our own!

This is Biba......watch this space.....

Thank you so much for visiting today. I will be back soon xx
